POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is in the Support Services section of Capitol Police, reporting to the Senior Management Analyst Supervisor. This is a full-time position that provides office and administrative and customer service support for Capitol Police. 

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Specific duties include:

  • Reviewing applications for access and assignment of access cards;
  • Conducting press, vendor and construction worker Level I background checks for individuals requiring access to the Capitol Complex, using various databases;
  • Coordinating administrative activities related to routine procurements for the Capitol Police Business Support Services unit;
  • Using MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) to purchase routine office supplies; and
  • Providing back-up support to the Government Operations Consultant III position.

  • $42,200.08

BACKGROUND:

FDLE requires an extensive background process of all recommended applicants. The elements of a background include: financial credit check, criminal history of applicant and applicant’s immediate family or roommates, personal references, employment and education verifications (which includes official transcript(s)), drug screen and fingerprinting. This information will be utilized to make the final hiring decision.
