COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered (Airfare, lodging, mileage, rental car & fuel).
- Lodging Cap: $150/night before taxes/fees (no incidentals permitted).
- Rental Car: Mid-Size (Apr–Nov), Mid-Size 4WD SUV (Dec–Mar).
- Holiday Bonus: $500 for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
REQUIRED PROCEDURES:
- Interventional cardiology procedures as clinically indicated.
- General cardiology care during weekend shifts.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Licenses: Active Illinois license (IMLC not accepted).
- Board: Board Certified in Cardiology (Interventional).
- DEA: Active DEA Certification required.
- Certifications: ACLS, CSR.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty.
- Other Qualifications: Proficiency with Cerner EMR.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide interventional and general cardiology services during weekend call shifts.
- Participate in 24-hour weekend call coverage two weekends per month.
- Round on patients Saturday and Sunday (4–5 hours each day).
- Respond to emergent patient needs with a 30-minute response time.
- Provide clear documentation of patient encounters and interventions.
