COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered (Airfare, lodging, mileage, rental car & fuel).
• Lodging Cap: $150/night before taxes/fees (no incidentals permitted).
• Rental Car: Mid-Size (Apr–Nov), Mid-Size 4WD SUV (Dec–Mar).
• Holiday Bonus: $500 for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

REQUIRED PROCEDURES:

• Interventional cardiology procedures as clinically indicated.
• General cardiology care during weekend shifts.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Licenses: Active Illinois license (IMLC not accepted).
• Board: Board Certified in Cardiology (Interventional).
• DEA: Active DEA Certification required.
• Certifications: ACLS, CSR.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty.
• Other Qualifications: Proficiency with Cerner EMR.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide interventional and general cardiology services during weekend call shifts.
• Participate in 24-hour weekend call coverage two weekends per month.
• Round on patients Saturday and Sunday (4–5 hours each day).
• Respond to emergent patient needs with a 30-minute response time.
• Provide clear documentation of patient encounters and interventions.
