Job Description

I-CAN Kids is the non-profit child recreation program at Arrow Ford. I-CAN Kids offers a no-cost childcare option for Arrow employees for school-aged children. The I-CAN Kids program was created in response to the difficulty of finding safe and reliable childcare for dealership staff who work later in the evenings or on Saturdays. I-CAN Kids teachers create a safe and engaging environment for our staff's children to enjoy after school, on Saturdays, and on school holidays. Responsibilities:

• Oversee a daily census of up to 25 school aged children
• Follow and contribute to the curriculum outlined by the I-CAN Kids Director
• Maintain a safe environment for staff and children alike
• Foster positive relationships between I-CAN Kids children, staff, parents, and all Arrow Ford leadership
• Follow all state, local, and organizational policies and regulations

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work
• CPR training strongly preferred – resources available to get certified once hired
• Availability to work evenings and Saturdays
• Ability to pass all pre-employment testing including background check and drug screening

You must be available for the following times:

• After School Hours: 2:30pm-6:30pm Monday-Friday, 7:30am-6:30pm Saturday
• Early Release Hours: 1:00pm-6:30pm on AISD early release days
• Summer/Holiday Break Hours/AISD work days: 7:30am-6:30pm Monday-Saturday
