Job Title: Credentialing Specialist

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Credentialing Specialist for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY .
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and process initial appointments, reappointments, and ongoing credentialing audits for Medical Staff, Allied Health Professionals, and other providers.
Manage and verify all credentialing documentation, including background checks, education, licensure, certifications, references, and professional history.
Utilize MDStaff credentialing software to track, review, and maintain provider records with a focus on accuracy, data integrity, and timely completion.
Support the clinical privileging process in alignment with hospital bylaws, policies, and procedures.
Ensure full compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, including state and federal statutes related to credentialing.
Maintain working knowledge of credentialing laws, standards, and best practices.
Collaborate with internal departments, medical staff offices, and providers to resolve credentialing issues and ensure timely processing.
Assist with audits, quality checks, and process improvement initiatives related to credentialing operations.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in credentialing, medical staff services, or related healthcare administrative work
Strong knowledge of credentialing regulations, accreditation standards, and medical staff bylaws
Proficiency with MDStaff or similar credentialing software – Preferred
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with providers and staff
Ability to conduct audits and maintain accurate, compliant records
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Must be able to work on-site
