H&H is offering an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Designer in our Annapolis, Maryland Office.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional electrical engineer
  • Provide CAD support utilizing AutoCAD and Microstation for electrical system design for movable bridges and transportation structures
  • Support the electrical department with design concepts and calculations for power distribution systems, industrial control systems, lighting, etc.
  • Perform field inspections of electrical systems
  • Write inspection reports to document system condition with repair recommendations
  • Apply engineering principles to solve complex problems

Requirements

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
  • Zero to two years of electrical engineering experience
  • Knowledge and interest in industrial controls, power distribution, and lighting
  • Experience with the electrical construction industry (residential, commercial building, lighting, etc.) (preferred)
  • Hands-on experience (preferred)
  • Excellent technical writing skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with CAD to develop engineering drawings, AutoCAD or Microstation (preferred)

Benefits

Salary range— $72,000-$75,000 annually. Salary commensurate with experience.
