JOB TITLE: Extrusion Operator
LOCATION: Sparta, NJ
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Fabricate thermoplastic products meeting customer quality standards.
- Follow process instructions and work orders precisely.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, material usage, and time.
- Perform visual inspections, testing, and document results.
- Ensure part traceability and proper identification.
- Keep work area and material storage clean and organized.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and industry regulations.
- Use proper equipment and packaging as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in thermoplastic manufacturing/ plastics required
- Strong organizational and task prioritization skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Commitment to quality improvement and attention to detail.
- Adaptable to changing work environments and competing demands.
- Takes responsibility for own actions.
- Able to stand or sit for extended periods.
- Frequently lifts/moves up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
HOURS: 7am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday (temporary 3-4 month minimum, could go perm for the right fit)
