Location: Houston, TX – Galleria Area
Our client, a leading global financial services group, is seeking an experienced US Finance Manager to oversee the financial accounting, reporting, and compliance activities for its U.S. operations. This key role will ensure timely and accurate reporting under U.S. GAAP and IFRS, manage tax and regulatory compliance, and provide senior management with critical financial insights.
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
Oversee outsourced accounting providers, review U.S. GAAP management accounts, and ensure timely IFRS group reporting.
Tax & Regulatory Oversight:
Coordinate U.S. tax compliance (federal, state, and local) with external advisors and support regulatory filings (SEC, NFA, CFTC) in partnership with compliance and legal teams.
Cash Flow & Treasury:
Manage cash flow, intercompany funding, and maintain strong banking relationships.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for U.S. management entities, delivering analysis and actionable insights to senior leadership.
Audit & Advisory:
Serve as the primary U.S. finance point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and the global finance team.
Strategic Support:
Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support for cross-border initiatives and business decisions.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field ( CPA strongly preferred ).
6+ years of progressive experience in finance/accounting, ideally in hedge funds, asset management, or Big 4 public accounting.
In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and U.S. tax/regulatory frameworks for management companies.
Proven experience managing outsourced accounting or finance providers.
Advanced Excel and financial systems skills.
Hands-on, adaptable, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across jurisdictions.
