About the Role:
CURA is looking to hire a service-driven Freight Account Executive who will manage their loads for the full load lifecycle. You will be responsible for generating new business and will act as a liaison between our customers and freight carriers. In this role, you will collaborate with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers to manage scheduled pickups and deliveries.

If you are new to sales/logistics but have a strong drive (a real go-getter) to succeed, then this is the right opportunity for you. This is an in-office role based in Tampa, FL. We are only considering candidates from the Tampa Bay area or those willing to relocate.

Responsibilities:
  • Secure new accounts and ensure customer retention.
  • Identify reputable carriers for freight services using company tools.
  • Negotiate rates with carriers and provide customers with shipping quotes.
  • Dispatch and track active loads (TL / Truckload / LTL) domestically.
  • Communicate with dispatchers and drivers daily to track the status of loads and provide timely updates to customers.
  • Identify potential issues and implement solutions.
  • Enter load data in internal TMS system in real time as load progresses.
  • Attract new prospects and develop a sales pipeline using the company CRM application.
  • Work cross-functionally to assist with customer billing and accounting responsibilities, as needed.
  • Make 70+ prospecting calls/day.


Qualifications:

  • Previous phone-sales experience preferred.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to think outside the box, look for solutions, and creatively solve problems.
  • Proactive self-starter who thrives in an autonomous, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Service-minded and accountable with a customer-centric approach.
  • Attention to detail & ability to multi-task.
