GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Maze of Life Resource Center is seeking a dynamic and creative Graphic Designer with a strong background in social media to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing our visual communications and marketing efforts. You will collaborate with all departments to produce a variety of materials including flyers, announcements, articles, and other marketing collateral. Your expertise will help us effectively convey our mission and engage with our community across various platforms.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
• Solid understanding of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) and their respective best practices.
• Comfortable on camera for promotional and instructional content.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong accountability and self-awareness in a collaborative environment.
• Technical proficiency with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of photography and drone photography is a plus.
• Experience in video editing and animation is a plus.
• Residence in Chicago Metro Area, IL or DFW, TX area a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and produce visually appealing flyers, marketing materials, and other communications that align with our organizational goals.
• Collaborate with various departments to understand their needs and provide creative solutions that enhance their messaging and outreach.
• Develop creative concepts and visual narratives that reflect the values and mission of the Maze of Life Resource Center.
• Creating/design for both internal and external communications.
• Assist in the creation of social media content, ensuring consistency in branding and messaging across all platforms.
• Help manage and maintain a cohesive visual identity for the organization, adapting designs as needed for different media channels.
• Stay updated on design trends and social media developments to ensure our materials are fresh and engaging.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance our outreach efforts.
