Job Description

Rose Brooks Center, a nonprofit domestic violence agency, is currently seeking a full-time Housing Care Coordination Manager. This position is responsible for providing leadership and management to the Housing and Economic Advocacy Case Managers, addresses the unique needs for housing and prioritizes safety for victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Ensures case management, economic empowerment and aftercare services are consistent with principles of trauma informed care, accessibility, quality assurance indicators, and targets for outcomes and productivity. Partners with Director of Housing and Economic Advocacy on quality programming and improvements. This position is responsible for the personnel and program supervision of the Housing and Economic Advocacy Case Managers and their services for assisting survivors of domestic violence; carries a partial case management caseload and provides long-term strengths-based case management and supportive services which promote housing and economic stability for survivors of domestic violence. This position reports to the Director of Housing and Economic Advocacy.

  • Perform all job responsibilities while demonstrating proficiency in all RBC competencies and utilizing the principles of trauma informed care and accessibility; demonstrates a commitment to the overall mission of Rose Brooks Center.
  • Perform functions of job according to agency policies and procedures.
  • Attend scheduled staff and team meetings; participate in all required trainings.
 
Qualifications:
Required Education, Experience and Skills:
  • Two years case management and advocacy experience, preferably working with vulnerable populations in a domestic violence agency and/or commensurate experience
  • One year of supervisory and/or leadership experience and/or commensurate combination of education and experience
  • Program development/management experience and/or project management experience
  • Thorough knowledge of best practices and domestic violence dynamics
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and motivate others; experience in developing and maintaining strong collaborations
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; including training and facilitation skills.
  • Proven time management, prioritization and organizational skills
  • Proficient use of MS Office/Windows operating system, client services database systems (preferably HMIS-comparable)
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of liability insurance.
 
Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, Counseling, or a related field or commensurate; courses or classwork related to human services, social work, etc. is preferred and not required; master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with Coordinated Entry System and administering HUD grants preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish/English, verbal and written
Hours:This is a full-time, exempt position and requires a minimum of 40 hours per week, primarily Monday through Friday days but may include some evening and weekend hours. Duties are performed primarily on-site; however, some duties, such as attendance at community meetings and occasional monthly in-home visits with clients, will be performed off-site.

Compensation:This position falls into a salary range starting at $53,000 annually (exempt).
