Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Intelligence Analyst to join a dynamic team supporting critical law enforcement initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply advanced analytical skills to challenging intelligence data, contribute to national security efforts, and make a meaningful impact. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in law enforcement data analysis, network mapping, and financial investigations, working onsite in Pentagon City three days a week under a 12-month contract.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education exceeding degree requirements

Clearance

  • DEA Public Trust clearance required prior to start

Onsite Requirements

  • Onsite presence in Pentagon City three days per week

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex law enforcement and drug-related data to identify patterns and connections
  • Generate leads and develop investigative leads through network mapping and financial record analysis
  • Utilize intelligence tools such as i2 Analyst Notebook, Excel, and other commercial intelligence platforms
  • Manipulate and interpret unstructured data from multiple sources and platforms
  • Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations of analytical findings
  • Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of in-depth knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, or other data analysis and visualization tools
  • 2+ years of experience manipulating unstructured data from various platforms
  • 4+ years of law enforcement or drug data analysis experience
  • Proven expertise in intelligence analysis, lead generation, and network mapping
  • Experience analyzing financial records in support of investigations
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with i2 Analyst Notebook and OSINT tools
  • Familiarity with law enforcement databases and investigative processes
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure

Nice to Have

  • Additional experience with IT, statistics, computer information systems, auditing, or investigative mathematics
  • Knowledge of units of measure and related analytical disciplines
  • Certification in intelligence analysis or related fields
