Intermediate Care Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position Location: Albuquerque, NM Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x12s Nights Pay: $2755/week Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Care RN to join our team. The RN will deliver specialized nursing care for patients requiring close monitoring and advanced nursing interventions, serving as a bridge between critical care and general medical-surgical units. Key Responsibilities: * Provide direct patient care for patients with complex and unstable conditions who do not require ICU-level care. * Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage specialized equipment (telemetry, infusion pumps, etc.). * Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition and escalate appropriately. * Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans. * Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge needs, and follow-up care. * Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility policies and standards. * Promote patient safety and serve as an advocate in decision-making processes.
