About the Job:

J ANITOR/CLEANER - Milwaukee Airport (PART-TIME ONLY 3rd Shift: 10:00pm to 6:30am)

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking PART-TIME ONLY 3rd Shift 10:00pm to 6:30am) Janitor/Cleaner to join our team at the Milwaukee Airport. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the airport facilities, including restrooms, waiting areas, and other public spaces.

JOB SUMMARY:

Tasks include but not limited to dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, grooming, trash removal, cleaning and sanitizing areas that include but not limited to bathrooms, common areas, escalators, elevators and stairwells, furniture, windows, sidewalks, wall, flat and floor surfaces. Assembles and uses necessary equipment and supplies. This includes but not limited to hand tools, motorized equipment, chemical and cleaning utensils to address specific work assignments. Aid guests that may have questions or concerns. Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned by Janitorial Operations Supervisor and Janitorial Operation Manager.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
• Maintain cleanliness of waiting areas, including seating, floors, and trash removal.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, such as door handles, handrails, and elevator buttons.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as dusting, sweeping, and mopping.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS:

• For safe and effective performance of the job, the position requires Basic English knowledge and to understand Janitorial terms as well.
• Prior experience in commercial janitorial or cleaning services.
• Experience with the same field preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time while performing tasks.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, such as trash bags and cleaning equipment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
