Position Overview

The Member Services Specialist will oversee the entire member lifecycle, from onboarding to ongoing support, ensuring each interaction exceeds expectations. As the front-line support to our customers, our Member Services Specialist will be responsible for providing best-in-class quality customer service over phone and email.

What You'll Accomplish

• Customer Onboarding: Maintain a smooth transition from the sales team to the customers first visit through timely and clear communication.
• Member Communication: Manage and triage company communications through our helpdesk system, email, phone, and text.
• Schedule Management: Coordinate daily changes to technician, customer and vendor schedules. 
• Data Management: Maintain accurate records of member information and service requests within our CRM system, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
• Cross-Functional Support : Collaborate with other departments, including sales and operations, to address member needs and enhance overall service delivery.

Who You Are

• 2-3+ years of experience experience in customer service or sales
• A background or interest in home maintenance/handyman work (preferred)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills – you love talking to people
• Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to creatively problem solve 
• Comfortable with technology (Google Apps, Excel, Quickbooks, our proprietary software)
• Ability to learn quickly on the job

Benefits and Compensation

• Salary range of $55,000 - $65,000/year (commensurate with experience)

• This position in based in our Rockville, MD office
