Da/Pro Rubber is currently looking for an experienced Liquid Injection Molding (LIM) Operator to join our team at the Owasso, OK location.
This facility is located at 6712 N. Canton Avenue, just off Hwy 75 and 66th St North.
This position is scheduled to work Monday to Friday 3 PM - 11 PM
JOB SUMMARY
The LIM Machine Operator is responsible for operating and tending to the press machines to mold, shape and form components. The operator uses job travelers and other documentation for specifications and conformance.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Operates heavy-duty Liquid Injection Rubber Press that ranges from 20-Ton to 100-Ton capability to form rubber products from Liquid Silicone Rubbers as specified by blueprints, layout, and templates.
Follows the sequence outlined in the Method of Manufacturing (MOM), applying knowledge of physical properties of rubber and the flow process.
Informs the Shift Lead if changes in the process occur or if problems arise with the molded rubber part.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ability to understand and communicate details logically and accurately in English
Ability to complete counting and basic mathematical calculations
Ability to record information in writing and to enter data accurately into the computer
Ability to use basic hand tools
Other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Occasionally: reach above shoulder with both hands, lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
Frequently: lift upward with both arms outstretched, count and calculate, communicate details
Constantly: stand, reach outward with both hands, handle/touch, wrist and elbow flexion, rotation and articulation
Other: Near point non-color vision, sense of touch, tolerance for temperature in a non-controlled environment
