**No Experience Needed - Production Painter Helper** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated Painter Helpers for both first shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) and second shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM) at a large metal finishing facility in Costa Mesa, CA. The Paint Helper will play a crucial role in supporting the paint department and its processes, including preparing parts for operators. **Responsibilities** + Prepare parts for operators by pulling and mixing paint. + Fill out necessary paperwork accurately. + Rack and un-rack parts efficiently. + Prepare the surface of parts for painting. + Inspect in-process paint using appropriate tools. + Stage and prepare orders for processing. + Support the paint department and related processes. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in paint preparation and mixing. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and sketches. + Experience with racking and inspection processes. + Familiarity with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, mechanical gauges, x-ray, and thickness gauges. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with inspection equipment including duelscope. + Basic skills in sketch and blueprint reading. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic and supportive work environment that values skill development and teamwork. Operate in a structured shift system with available shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newport Beach, CA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
