Powder Coating Technician
Position – Powder Coating Technician
Job Location – Cudahy, WI
Starting Date – Immediate
Employment Term – Direct Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (6:00am – 4:00pm)
Starting Pay – Depends on Experience, $21-$25 per hour

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED
Required Experience – At least 3 years of experience with powder paint application techniques and equipment
Responsibilities
-Clean and prepare parts with techniques such as sanding, priming and sandblasting
-Apply powder coat to parts using a hand-held Wagner powder sprayer, as well as perform color changes and booth set up in a timely manner
-Ensure finished product is up to standard and transport to and from the work area using a forklift
-Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
-3+years experience with powder paint application techniques and equipment and curing oven preparation
-HS Diploma/GED required
-Ability to read diagrams/prints, as well as pass a math assessment before starting
-Exceptional attention to detail, teamwork, and hand/eye coordination
-Forklift certification and experience required
