Salary: $40-$45 per hour
About the Role: Throgs Neck Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented
Registered Dietitian with experience in long-term care and skilled nursing facilities (SNF). This position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on residents’ health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities: - Nutritional Assessments: Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents, including at admission, readmission, quarterly reviews, and annual evaluations.
- Individualized Care Plans: Develop and implement personalized care plans to address each resident’s dietary needs and goals.
- Team Collaboration: Actively participate in food service department meetings and interdisciplinary care plan meetings.
- Supervision: Provide oversight of kitchen staff and tray line operations to ensure proper food handling, service, and quality.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations to uphold high-quality standards.
Minimum Qualifications: - Registered Dietitian with experience in long-term care/SNF settings.
- Proficiency with EMR systems.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in a hospital, nursing care facility, or similar healthcare setting.
- Education: Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution.
- Certifications: RD or CDN preferred (not required).
- Sigma care and Meal Tracker.
