The Senior Manager of Workspace Technologies leads SRP’s enterprise-wide end-user computing strategy, driving innovation and operational excellence across device lifecycle management, endpoint operations, and support services. This role oversees two core teams—Device & Asset Management and Endpoint Solutions—and is accountable for deploying, maintaining, and securing desktops, laptops, virtual workstations, smartphones, printers, and peripherals.
As a strategic leader within ITS, the senior manager champions digital transformation through automation and self-service initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and elevate the user experience. This role enforces IT standards, cybersecurity policies, and regulatory compliance, while aligning technology solutions with SRP’s business objectives.
The manager collaborates closely with business units to define system requirements, evaluate emerging technologies, and translate IT strategy into actionable plans. Responsibilities include strategic planning, budget oversight, vendor relationship management, and personnel development. By fostering innovation and continuous improvement, this role ensures Workspace Technologies delivers measurable value to SRP’s mission and long-term goals.
Travel to SRP office locations in the Phoenix metro area, to provide on-site support, will be required, based on operational needs and team coverage.
A minimum of eight years cumulative and progressive exempt level professional experience is required (if no degree, 12 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience totaling 12 years).
A bachelor’s degree related to the assignment from an accredited institution is preferred.
Hybrid Workplace
SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
