I am looking for an experienced teacher of Social Studies to join my client in Dubai for August 2019. This is a fabulous opportunity to work with a school which is about 30 minutes  from the center of Dubai and has plenty of expat teachers there

The school is well furnished and has a very nice family friendly feel to it. It is accredited by NEASC and has an experienced Principal leading the school to success.

The school is looking for a Humanities Teacher that is motivated, flexible, easy going, adventurous team players are sought by a long-standing reputable private US / IB curriculum school for this academic year. This means an application from a two year experienced teacher, preferably from North America, although it is always about the right person and not curriculum experience.

Requirements to Apply

**Degree in Social Studies/Humanities

**A valid state teaching license in Socials Studies/Humanities

**Ideally 2 years teaching experience

**Western-trained

**Native speaker of English

**Tech-savvy

**Experience of teaching in the Middle East is preferred

The school day runs from 7.50 am to 2.35pm and caters for a US education to students from 85 different nationalities.  Teaching and learning is done in the medium of English and Arabic is taught to students as both a first language and second language.  The school is also very active in the arts offering Music and Arts.

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:

Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)

Must be a native speaker of English

Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered

Prefer candidates with international experience

Open University qualification(s) are NOT accepted

Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted

Additional:

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:

A salary from 9000 up to 12000  AED (UAE Dirham)per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE

Flight(s) provided annual flights are provided for the teacher

Bereavement Leave:

Bereavement leave given
