Essential Functions 1) Integrate Database creation, operations, and management into app patterns and automation (both for relational and non-relational databases) i.e., experience with DB creation / configuration as part of a standard "application" vending machine. Should have experience with general DB solutions on AWS including: Amazon RDS (PostGreS), NoSQL, and warehousing solutions (i.e., RedShift) 2) Incorporate database management tools (DBMaestro experience preferred) into CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions experience preferred) and enable standard configurability out of the box leveraging selected service catalog tool (ServiceNow, Backstage) 3) Automate configuration of DB tools and management as part of service catalog item creation, and onboard teams to the process 4) Transfer knowledge of standard database management operations, tooling, etc. to Pilot platform engineering team Strategic Responsibility Sets or contributes to the business strategy for own team and function. Managing People/Leadership Mentors junior team members. Problem-Solving Analytical thought needed to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations, without supervision. Impact Restricted to own department. Communication/Inter personal skills Developed communication skills to exchange complex information
