Job Description

We are hiring on behalf of our client, a growing U.S.-based accounting firm, that is seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Accountant to strengthen their financial operations, ensure accuracy, and support continued expansion.

This is not an entry-level role. The right person will have 5–7 years of proven accounting experience with U.S. companies and a strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP. We are looking for someone who values stability, quality, and long-term growth, and who thrives on being part of a collaborative, client-focused team.

What You’ll Do
  • Oversee core accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with U.S. GAAP across journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger records
  • Prepare precise monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with a strong commitment to timeliness and quality
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist with audits and maintain strict adherence to compliance standards
  • Review and analyze financial data, providing actionable insights while maintaining integrity of reporting
  • Collaborate with the U.S.-based team via Zoom, Teams, and email
  • Train and support junior staff as needed, reinforcing quality and accuracy standards
  • Communicate directly with clients to clarify financial information, answer questions, and provide updates as needed
  • Take ownership of assigned client accounts, ensuring deadlines are met and financial reports are reliable and audit-ready
  • Partner with leadership on process improvements and recommend best practices to strengthen client accounting operations
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5–7 years of professional accounting experience, including direct work with U.S. companies
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and compliance standards
  • Proven ability to deliver accurate, high-quality financial work under tight deadlines
  • Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to communicate financial information clearly to clients and colleagues
  • A stable track record of employment and commitment to long-term roles
  • Team-oriented, dependable, and motivated by accuracy, professional growth, and contributing to shared success
What’s In It for You
  • Direct mentorship: work side by side with the firm’s owner, gaining exposure to high-level accounting practices and leadership
  • Stability: a full-time, long-term role with competitive salary based on experience
  • Growth: opportunities to take on more responsibility and evolve into leadership as the firm expands
  • Collaboration: a supportive, team-oriented culture where quality, communication, and accuracy are valued
  • Impact: the chance to contribute directly to the success and reputation of a growing U.S. accounting firm
