Overview
A Brooklyn‑based hospital is seeking experienced Postpartum / Mother–Baby Registered Nurses to join its Maternal–Child Health team. This role focuses on providing high‑quality, family‑centered care to postpartum patients and newborns in a fast‑paced, supportive environment. Two positions are available.

- Hours per Day: 11.5
- Schedule:
- Three 11.5‑hour shifts per week
- 08:30 AM – 8:00 PM
- Alternating weekends

Job Title
RN – Postpartum / Mother–Baby (000539)
Role Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum patients and newborns
- Support maternal recovery, breastfeeding, newborn care, and family education
- Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy as needed
- Monitor patients receiving conscious sedation
- Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, lactation consultants, and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold all safety and quality standards
Required Skills & Experience
- Two years of Maternal & Child Health experience
- Two years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
- Two years of conscious sedation experience
- Strong communication, patient‑education, and assessment skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative care team
