ChampionX has an immediate need for a Chemist located in Sugar Land, TX . This is an entry level position that will support the Asset Integrity team.

What You Will Do: - Apply basic chemistry principles, theories and concepts to assignments where precedents typically exist
- Use basic scientific knowledge to solve problems
- Contribute to the research and development of differentiated technology, products, processes and systems.
- Perform work in a safe manner while identifying opportunities for improving safety
- Manage several requests at once while working within a fast-paced environment
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field
- Immigration Sponsorship is not available for this role.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in industry communicating daily with internal and external customers
- Experience with utilizing and logging samples into a laboratory information management system (LIMS) or other sample/data tracking platform such as SAP
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate within all levels of the organization
- The candidate should be outgoing, creative, a self-starter, and team orientated
