Job Description : Heavy Equipment Operator

Position Summary:
We are seeking experienced heavy equipment operators to join our earthworks team in the Greater Denver Metro Area. The heavy equipment operator will be responsible for operating grading and earthmoving equipment (skid steers, loaders, dozers, excavators, etc.) 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Equipment operation with the ability to read and follow plans as well as direction from the onsite foreman.
• Conduct Equipment Inspections to ensure equipment remains in optimal working performance
• Adhere to safety protocols, maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensure accurate daily time tracking via payroll service application.
• Work with project engineering and quality control to ensure workmanship meets specifications and drawings.

Qualifications & Experience: 

• Minimum 5-10 years of heavy equipment operation experience.
• Ability to move up to 100 pounds repetitively
• Frequent bending, standing, lifting, climbing and ongoing physical activity. 
• Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel to project sites as required; ability to work extended hours when project demands require.

Compensation & Benefits: 

• Pay Range: $25 to $35 per hour, dependent on experience and project complexity.
